Quad-Sharc board multiplies processing power Under a joint development, the Analog Devices` AD14160 Quad-Sharc DSP multiprocessor and the Ixthos` IXZ16 Real-Time Processing VME board have been integrated into a single 6U slot package that delivers a performance density of 1.9 GFLOPS per cubic inch. The IXZ16 board comes with 256 Mbytes of DRAM, two sites for I/O mezzanine modules, and software development and debugging tools.
