Cheetahcameras—which are the first CMOS models from IMPERX—are designed for such applications as machine vision, surveillance, reconnaissance, aerospace, and intelligent traffic systems. The cameras feature global or rolling shutter modes, selectable 8/10/12-bit digitization, multiple decimation or pixel averaging modes, two configurable inputs, two configurable outputs, and Camera Link Full or CoaXPress interface options. Currently, Cheetah cameras are available in two models: The C2880 and the C4080. The C2880 features a 6 MPixel ON Semiconductor KAC-06040 CMOS image sensor that can achieve a frame rate of 135 fps while the C4080 features a 12 MPixel KAC-12040 CMOS image sensor that can achieve a frame rate of 70 fps. These cameras will be on display at the IMPERX booth at Automate.
