The Hyper-Cam NB (Narrow Band) hyperspectral imaging camera is designed for research, defense, and scientific imaging applications. The camera utilizes Fourier transform infrared technology in its cooled 320 x 256 mercury cadmium telluride (MCT) focal plane array and features a 7.7 to 9.3 µm spectral range. The Hyper-Cam NB also has a Camera Link interface and comes with Reveal Pro and Reveal D&I image acquisition software. It can be used to detect and identify substances (gases or solids) from a distance of more than three miles away, and can also be used for real-time chemical imaging. In addition, the camera features IP42 housing, a 6.4° x 5.1° field of view, and on-board digital processing.
