Offering a PCIe x 1 interface and digital, discrete I/Os with real-time synchronization and industrial networking using the EtherNet/IP, Modbus, and PROFINET protocols, the Matrox Indio turns any PC into a vision controller.

Offering a PCIe x 1 interface and digital, discrete I/Os with real-time synchronization and industrial networking using the EtherNet/IP, Modbus, and PROFINET protocols, the Matrox Indio turns any PC into a vision controller. With eight inputs and eight outputs, the board provides jumper-selectable signaling in both 24V and TTL-level standards. I/Os are optically isolated and outputs feature resettable fuses to safeguard against damage from unintended use. A status indicator LED for each I/O assists with integration troubleshooting, and a GigE port is provided for industrial communication or video capture with GigE Vision-compliant devices. Designed for use with both Matrox Imaging Library 10 SDK and Matrox Design Assistant 5, the Indio card provides systems integrators and machine builders the ability to fully utilize Matrox vision software in a PC of their choice.
