Camera Link frame grabbers from Active Silicon to be showcased at VISION 2016
At VISION 2016, Active Silicon will showcase Camera Link and CoaXPress frame grabbers, along with a range of camera interface modules for Sony and Tamron block cameras. Among the products being shown is the FireBird Camera Link Deca board, which is available in three different form factors: Full-height PC form-factor board with front panel I/O, low-profile PC form-factor version, and a 3U cPCI serial board with extended temperature range.
The FireBird Camera Link Deca supports all Camera Link configurations from Base to Deca (80-Bit) on a single card and also includes the ability to simultaneously capture from two independent Base cameras. The card uses a Gen2 x4 PCIe bus which can sustain 1.7Gbytes/s throughput and includes multiple I/O options.
Additionally, the company will showcase a number of custom embedded vision systems that have been deployed into OEM medical and industrial applications.
