New from AT – Automation Technology is the C5-1280-GigE 3D sensor, which will be on display at the company’s booth at VISION 2016 in Stuttgart. The C5-1280-GigE features a 1280 x 1024 CMOS image sensor with a 6.6 µm pixel size, as well as a dynamic range of 90 dB. The 3D laser triangulation sensor also features a number of 3D camera algorithms built in, including Threshold-Selection Method, Maximum Method, COG Method, and FIR-PEAK Method. Additionally, the C5-1280-GigE reaches speeds of up to 200 kHz and supports 3D scan functions such as automation AOI tracking, AOI search, and auto-start.
