Software from Datalogic provides real time systems monitoring and data collection
Datalogic has announced the launch of WebSentinel PLUS software, which provides advanced monitoring and collection of data for use in factory automation, transportation, and logistics.
WebSentinel PLUS monitors and collects information from automation devices located or at a remote location and is used for monitoring operational activities of reading devices presenting the information through a single web-based interface. It works by collected data from scan points using an Ethernet TCP/IP network, and presents the information flow as visual onscreen information. With it, users get real-time performance metrics at a glance, including reading performance, package activity, and device diagnostics.
Additionally, the software features a data filter that provides reading statistics based on time frame, barcode tracking, facility and attributes like no-reads, multi-read, and package size. Image files can be browsed to check for things like label compliance, no read root cause, and parcel conditions. Collected information is stored in a database from which reports can be generated.
