Vivid Engineering has announced the release of the CLM-602 Camera Link multiplexer, which interfaces two Camera Link cameras of any configuration (base, medium, full, 80-bit), to one frame grabber. The CLM-602 incorporates a 20-85 MHz camera frequency and works with any Camera Link camera, supporting applications that require the ability to select between two cameras. The selector also provides multiple camera selection methods, including rear-panel switch settings, Camera Link interface signals (serial or camera control), and an external RS-232 port. In addition, the CLM-602 features a 26-pin MDR type video connector, three camera pixel clock cycles, a male 9-pin D-Sub serial port connector, and an isolated DC power unit.
