Teledyne FLIR Launches New SWIR Camera Series

Teledyne FLIR has launched a new series of short wave infrared cameras, the Forge 1GigE SWIR camera series. The first camera in the Forge SWIR 1 GigE camera series is now available. It is equipped with a Sony SenSWIR IMX990 InGAAs sensor. The camera has 1.3 MPixel resolution with 5 µm pixels. With a spectral range of 400 to 1700 nm, the camera can capture both visible and SWIR images. It comes standard with a number of on-camera features, including pixel correction, sequencer with region of interest, logic block, and counter.

These cameras are especially designed for machine  vision applications such as semiconductor inspections, food sorting and material sorting, medical imaging, environmental monitoring, and recycling.
