Zebra Technologies Adds New Deep Learning Tools to Machine Vision Software Suite
Zebra Technologies recently updated its Aurora machine vision software suite with several new AI/deep learning features.
Aurora Design Assistant can now be used to create applications by building and configuring flow charts rather than writing program codes, as well as design a web-based human-machine interface for those applications. The software also comes with deep learning object detection capability as well as a dedicated workspace for training deep learning models. In addition, Aurora Vision Studio, which now has more than 3,000 pre-programmed and proven filters, can be used to create vision applications that require no coding.
The Aurora Imaging Library has added more tools for 2D and 3D data processing, as well as a deep learning optical character recognition tool that reads characters, digits, punctuation marks and other such symbols without having to train it on specific fonts.
The software is designed especially for engineers, programmers, and data scientists to more easily and quickly develop and deploy many machine vision applications across a wide range of industries.
