Computar Launches New Ruggedized Lens Series

Lenses designed for machine vision applications performed in harsh environments.

Computar recently launched a new line of ruggedized machine vision lenses, the MPZ-R series. These 2.4 um high resolution lenses feature a floating design and 1in format. They are designed to handle vibration up to 10g and shocks up to 15g. Customizable to the user’s preferred F-stop, the lenses come in 8, 12, 16, 35, and 75 mm focal length options, with full HD format and a manual iris.

These lenses are especially designed for a wide variety of machine vision applications performed in harsh environments.
