Jonathan Kane, Ph.D.

Jonathan Kane Ph.D. is Chief Technology Officer of Clear Align (Hudson, NH, USA), an electro-optics systems integration and engineering specialist that focuses on imaging, lasers, and fiber optics. Dr. Kane received his bachelors degree at MIT, his masters in electro-optics at Tufts University and his PhD at Boston University in electrical engineering. He started his professional career with a joint appointment to the US Air Force Rome Laboratory and to MIT Lincoln Laboratory Division V as a staff researcher. In 1996 he joined his father at Computer Optics as director of R&D. In 2009 Dr. Kane took over as president of Computer Optics, which was sold to Clear Align in May 2013. As part of the sale, he became president of Clear Align.
