Since 2001, Michal Goc has been Senior Controls & Vision Integrator at Systematix Inc., a designer and manufacturer of turn-key factory automation systems for the automotive parts, medical device, pharmaceutical, electronics and consumer products industries. A sought-after speaker, Goc has a master’s degree in electronics and has successfully integrated machine vision in automotive, medical, pharmaceutical and electronics industries. He has designed and programmed systems for vision gauging, OCR/OCV, robot guidance, DM code-reading, feature-presence detection, inspection of solder and IV bags, and more. He is experienced with cameras and software from numerous manufacturers; has implemented many types of lights and lighting techniques, along with various types of lenses and optical components. He co-developed Systematix’s proprietary PC-based vision inspection user interface called MAVIX.
