Among the products Imperx showcased at VISION 2016 was the new Tiger 47 MP camera, which was designed for flat panel inspection and aerospace applications. The camera features a 47 MPixel CCD image sensor from ON Semiconductor which has a 5.5 µm pixel size and has a dynamic range of 64 dB. The camera is capable of 7 fps at full resolution and can be deployed in a number of different applications, according to Nathan Cohen, Head of Business Development at Imperx. Additionally, the company showcased its Cheetah CMOS cameras, which feature sensors ranging from 6 MPixel to 25 MPixel and frame rates up to 160 fps using Sony Pregius and ON Semiconductor PYTHON image sensors.
