The Federal Bureau of Investigation has certified the Mentalix Inc. (Plano, TX) Fingerprint Scan API Toolkit to be in compliance with the IAFIS, Appendix F 500 ppi (Section 2.0) Scanner Specifications created by the FBI Criminal Justice Information Services Division. The toolkit, which was tested for use on Microsoft Windows-based platforms with the Microtek ScanMaker 5 scanner, is targeted at system integrators and developers who need to incorporate IAFIS IQS-compliant fingerprint scanning with
