Artemis CCD announces upgraded range of cooled scientific cameras
Artemis CCD Limited has announced an upgrade in performance and enhanced lens compatibility for its VS range of scientific cameras. Artemis VS range of thermoelectrically cooled cameras feature Sony ICX CCD image sensors ranging in size from 1.4 MPixel to 9.2 MPixel. The image digitization speed for all members of the VS range has been increased by a factor of 3 through a custom low noise electronics design, combined with thermoelectric cooling of -22°F (35°C). In addition, the cameras—which are suitable for use in low light imaging applications—have adopted a C-Mount thread as the standard lens interface for the range.
