Portable boroscope detects defects

This remote visual-inspection system can detect and measure defects in electronic components and machinery. Included are a 50 field-of-view borescope for scanning the interior of a machine to detect a remote defect. The system can be coupled to a TV monitor or with a video analyzer. When interfaced to the Olympus IW analyzer, the system provides a range of measurement capabilities that include image storage and retrieval, zoom, and image enhancement.
