Nikon forms Nikon Metrology for industrial-based metrology customers

Nikon has formed Nikon Metrology, which combines Nikon Instruments industrial instruments business with the former Metris business. The company will focus on the industrial and manufacturing business markets for precision measuring and industrial microscopy.

Nikon announced that it has formed Nikon Metrology (Brighton, MI, USA), a new company that combines Nikon Instruments industrial instruments business with the former Metris business, acquired by Nikon in 2009. Nikon Metrology will focus specifically on the industrial and manufacturing business markets for precision measuring and industrial microscopy.
