The F/64-RTP implements flat-field correction by using a calibration image. This reference image is stored in on-board memory and is used to operate on the incoming image on a pixel-by-pixel basis. A gray-scale normalization factor is used to normalize the image prior to processing and can be reloaded during the horizontal vertical sync to compensate for overall intensity variations. Priced at $2000, the F/64-RTP is available with 2-4 Mbytes of memory. Coreco, 6969 Trans-Canada Highway, Suite 142, St. Laurent, Quebec, Canada; (514) 333-1301.
