Axis Communications releases rugged open-area surveillance camera
The AXIS Q6215-LE PTZ Network Camera from Axis Communications features a 1/1.9" progressive scan RGB CMOS image sensor, and long-range OptimizedIR and IR-LEDs that according to the manufacturer can deliver superior video quality in low light or complete darkness up to 400 m. The camera has resolution from 1920 x 1080 to 320 x 180 and provides 60 fps at all resolutions.
Designed for open-area surveillance, the AXIS Q6215-LE PTZ can withstand wind speeds up to 245 km/h and is compliant with MIL-STD-810G, IP66, IP68, IK10, and NEMA4X standards, and comes standard with built-in analytics for detecting motion, intrusion, and loitering.
