The new cameras automatically adjust gain state to maximize resolution contrast.

Seek Thermal has announced two new series of OEM thermal cameras, the Micro Core and Mosaic Core series, that feature “dual-gain” smart pixels that automatically adjust gain state to maximize resolution contrast when viewing hot and cold objects in the same scene.

The Micro Core shutterless camera is 8 x 11 x 8 mm in size, has 200 x 150 sensor resolution with a 12 µm pixel, a 61° field of view, is export compliant <9 Hz frame rate, and is sensitive to temperatures between -20° C and 300° C.

Mosaic Core cameras are between 10 x 20 x 21 mm and 23 x 20 x 21 mm in size, available in 200 x 150 or 320 x 240 resolutions with a 12 µm pixel, have customizable fields of view between 15° and 105°, can capture at 32 Hz or export compliant <9 Hz frame rates, and are sensitive to temperatures between -40° C and 330° C.

Seek Thermal offers software to support visible light camera add-ons for Micro and Mosaic Core cameras and has made available Development Starter Kits.
