At VISION 2016 in Stuttgart, Aphesa will showcase its FIEye line of line scan cameras, which feature a Camera Link interface and Awaiba (CMOSIS) Dragster CMOS line scan image sensors. The cameras are available in multiple formats, including 2k, 2 x 2k, 4k, 2 x 4k, 8k, 2 x 8k, and 16k. The cameras feature software for image pre-processing and sensor control and are suitable for use in such applications as web inspection, medical scanning, barcode detection, and print quality inspection.

In addition to showcasing the cameras, Aphesa will offer image sensor and camera technology training the week following the VISION show, from November 14-16. The training sessions range from introductory to mid-level, and are designed for engineers who are new to the field of imaging or non-engineering personnel who needs a more in-depth understanding of the technology or engineers familiar with some elements of machine vision, but need additional training.
