e2v’s CMOS image sensor portfolio, which includes the Jade, Sapphire, Ruby, and Onyx sensor families, will now be available through FRAMOS in these regions. These image sensors operate in the near infrared to near UV, and target low light imaging applications, or applications requiring performance and durability over extended temperature ranges, such as security/surveillance cameras.

Jean-Philippe Lamarcq, Vice President of Professional Imaging Sales & Business Development at e2v, said, “FRAMOS are well known for their customer dedication, technical expertise and high quality of service in imaging technology. They bring over 30 years of experience in image sensor sales in the European market, allowing e2v to extend its reach and broaden its customer base. I look forward to a long and fruitful relationship.”

Axel Krepil, Head of FRAMOS’ Image Sensor Division, also commented, “The FRAMOS Group is in a period of global expansion and tremendous growth. Establishing this agreement with e2v strengthens our portfolio for customers and will enable us to solidify our leadership in the global Machine Vision and special applications market, while offering local and timely support at all levels.”
