JAI Launches New Line Scan Cameras

New additions to Sweep camera series designed for machine vision applications such as inspections, sorting.

JAI recently launched four new compact line scan cameras to its Sweep camera series. They are the SW2005-5GE-trilinear and SW2005-5GE-monochrome and the SW-2005TL-CXP-triliniear and SW-2005M-CXP-monochrome. The cameras all have 2K resolution. The color cameras have a 44 kHz scan rate while the monochrome cameras have a 172 kHz scan rate. The cameras also come standard with such features as "Resume Scanning Function", "Trigger Delay Based  on Trigger Count", and "Trigger Controlled Exposure Time".

These cameras are designed for a wide variety of machine vision applications such as fruit and vegetable sorting, wood inspection, barcode scanning, and high speed print inspection tasks.
