2016 Innovators Award honorees to be recognized at The Vision Show 2016
On the first day of The Vision Show 2016, which will be held in Boston from May 3-5, Vision Systems Design will announce its 2016 Innovators Awards honorees live on the show floor.
Launched last year at the Automate trade show in Chicago, the award program recognizes companies that demonstrate excellence in a product or technology, an application, or in research and development. In addition to systems integrators, manufacturers of industrial cameras, camera components, image sensors, machine vision lighting, and more, are encouraged to submit their product, service, or technology for review.
Our panel of expert judges consisted of systems integrators, consultants, and academics with years of experience in specifying, designing and configuring image processing and machine vision systems.
Submissions were evaluated for:
- Originality
- Innovation
- Impact on designers, systems integrators, end users
- Fulfilling a need in the market that hasn’t been addressed
- Leveraging a novel technology
- Increasing productivity
Last year’s program, which saw multiple companies in the imaging and machine vision community recognized for their achievement, highlighted the innovation and advancements in the industry. This year, we’ve got a number of exciting new products that will be recognized by the Innovators Awards program.
In addition to announcing them live at the show, we will also publish an article detailing all of our 2016 honorees. Keep an eye out for this announcement, and during the show, be on the watch for images taken from the show floor with companies holding their new awards. Will your company be one of them?
