Frame grabbers and range extenders from Kaya Instruments to be shown at VISION 2016
At VISION 2016 in Stuttgart, Kaya Instruments will showcase a number of its frame grabbers—including 10 GigE, Camera Link HS, and CoaXPress—as well as range extender over fiber products and a high-speed digital video recorder.
Two of the main products to be featured will be the Komodo CoaXPress frame grabber (pictured) and the Komodo FXCL Camera Link over Fiber range extender system. The frame grabber is capable of receiving video streams from up to 8 CoaXPress links in single, dual, quad, or octal modes, with each link supporting standard CoaXPress bitrates of up to 6.25 Gbps. The Komodo FXCL system features an integrated frame grabber and uses fiber optic cables to provide an image acquisition interface for distances up to 40 km in single mode and up to 300 m in multi-mode. The Camera Link 2.0 compliant system can capture from up to 8 Camera Link Full cameras and features up to 144 Gb image buffer, with camera controls and triggers.
Also on display at the show will be the Komodo 10 GigE frame grabber, the Komodo CLHS X-Protocol frame grabber, an ultra-high speed digital video recorder, the Komodo FXP CoaXPress range extender over fiber, and the Cliber Camera Link extender over fiber.
