Contact image sensor from Tichawa Vision to be exhibited at VISION 2016
Designed for such applications as food and blister pack inspection, the contact image sensor (CSI) from Tichawa Vision offers an alternative to conventional line scan cameras. The new multicolor CIS features an adjustable resolution of 1200, 600, and 300 dpi, and a depth of field of 10 mm, which is improved over the previous 1.5 mm. Additionally, the working distance for the CIS has increased from 10 to 60 mm. Additionally, the new CIS that will be on display at VISION will feature a scanning width of 260 mm (with models avaialble up to 2080 mm), and featurse a line rate of up to 250 kHz and a scanning speed of up to 20 m/s.
