Members of Major League Baseball's Washington Nationals organization used a camera-equipped quadcopter UAV to capture publicity photos of the team that would have otherwise been impossible for a human photographer to capture. When asked if the team received the FAA's permission first, a team official quipped, "No, we didn't get it cleared, but we don't get our pop flies cleared either and those go higher than this thing did." The following day, the UAV was no longer being used to take photos of the team. Check out the UAV in action here.
