Frame grabbers and extender system from Gidel to be highlighted at VISION 2016
At VISION 2016 in Stuttgart, Gidelwill showcase its new HawkEye Camera Link and CoaXPress frame grabbers, as well as its Remote Camera Extension System for Camera Link cameras. The new frame grabbers support all Camera Link configurations, including DECA, as well as CoaXPress. The Camera Link models feature a low profile with 8 PCIe lanes with Camera Link Dual, Base, Medium, Full, and DECA, while the CoaXPress boards (pictured) support 1, 2, or 4 CXP-6 links with Power over Coax.
Gidel’s Remote Camera Over Fiber Link Extension System enables frame acquisition from a remote Camera Link camera at a distance of up to 40 km without repeaters. The system features two SFP+ transceiver modules, each at 12.5 (or 6.25 GHz) for up to full duplex of ~ 25 Gb/s (20Gb/s net transfer rate.)
