At the Matrox Imaging booth at The Vision Show 2018, the company will offer hands-on demonstrations of its machine vision software, including the Matrox Imaging Library (MIL) software development kit, which was recently updated for photometric stereo imaging, rectangular shape finding, and image classification using deep learning (convolutional neural networks.)
Matrox Imaging will also offer individual presentations of Matrox Design Assistant 5.1, the latest version of its flowchart-based integrated development environment software. New tools within the software include the Project Change Validator tool, which is a modification proofing utility that ensures machine vision systems uphold inspection requirements following any new project updates, according to the company, as well as the SureDotOCR dot-matrix OCR tool.
Additionally, the company will debut two new frame grabbers, one of which offers a multi-port Power over Ethernet NIC and the other with support for CoaXPress.
