Basler has added the ace 2 V area scan camera, a new series of single channel CoaXPress cameras, to its ace 2 camera line. All ace 2 V cameras are available in color and monochrome options, all are equipped with Sony Pregius S CMOS global shutter sensors and all have CXP-12 Interface.
For example, the a2a2448V, one of the seven options currently available in the ace 2 camera line, is equipped with the Sony Pregius S IMX547 global shutter sensor. It has a 5 MPixel resolution, with 2.74 x 2.74 μm pixel size, and 122 fps frame rate. The a2a2448 V has a dynamic range of 70.2 dB and signal to noise ratio of 39.9 dB.
The cameras all come in a box housing with a 29 x 29 mm footprint and C-mount lens mount. They weighs 76 g and have an operating temperature range of 0°C to 50°C. The cameras are rated IP30 are CE, CoaXPress 2.0, GenICam compliant, and conform to KC, UKCA, and UL safety standards.
The cameras are designed for machine vision applications such as inspections, texture analysis, and high resolution imaging, and are especially designed for deployment in smaller, more compact spaces.
